PCA Gold Coast’s Unforgettable 2023 North Carolina Trip
After a two-day drive up from South Florida, the PCA Gold Coast Region 2023 North Carolina tour officially kicked off on Friday morning at the Little Switzerland Inn. But before hitting the road, a brief drivers meeting was held where lead and sweep drivers were assigned. This set the stage for a well-organized and smooth trip. The group was immediately welcomed by the natural beauty of the season, with perfect weather and vibrant fall foliage creating an idyllic start to a memorable weekend.
The group’s stay at Little Switzerland Inn, conveniently located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, proved to be a hit. Not only did the inn offer stunning views, but it also served as an excellent launch pad for other adventures. The itinerary was packed with both relaxation and excitement, from a visit to a local winery and brewery to drives along some of the area’s most scenic roads.
Though Friday brought a touch of rain, it couldn’t dampen spirits during the group’s visit to the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. As if on cue, the sun peeked out later in the morning, shining down on a hearty and enjoyable lunch. On Saturday, the adventure continued with a trip to the Tennessee Hills Distillery, followed by a memorable family-style lunch at The Kitchen at Grace Meadows Farm in Jonesborough.
Kudos to everyone who captured these moments—special shoutout to Mario & Lissette Gonzalez, Christy Spangler, Tobi Manke, and Ian Gerada for providing the amazing photographs. The trip was more than just an opportunity to take in beautiful vistas and enjoy some local flavors; it was a chance to create lasting memories with great friends and equally great cars. Here’s to many more road trips to come!
